Job summary

Oak Orchard Health is seeking an EMR Support Specialist (Level-2) to manage data accuracy in the EHR, including patient panels and physician records, with travel to multiple Oak Orchard Health sites as needed. This role supports end-users with eCW-specific tickets and front-line IT assistance.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of clinical health care experience with EHRs, and familiarity with eCW, Medent or NextGen, along with strong communication and teaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical health care experience with an EHR.
• Experience with eCW, Medent or NextGen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of clinical systems and policies relevant to practice.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide IT support to staff.
• Maintain patient education principles.
• Collaborate with other facilities to optimize system use.
• Perform patient panel cleanup and EHR maintenance.
• Update referring physician records in the EHR.
• Perform NDC cleanup and maintenance in the EHR.
• Answer eCW-specific helpdesk tickets and provide frontline support.
• Support data accuracy and consistency in the EMR.
• Travel to Oak Orchard Health sites for on-site support.
• Other duties as assigned.
