Job summary

Oak Orchard Health Center is seeking an EMR Support Specialist to join the IT Help Desk. You will help maintain the EHR data accuracy, perform patient panel cleanup, update referring physician records, and conduct NDC cleanup, while handling eCW-specific helpdesk tickets and frontline IT support for staff.

The role requires strong communication, willingness to travel to Oak Orchard Health sites, and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic health records in a clinical setting is required.
• Familiarity with eCW, Medent, or NextGen is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide IT support to employees.
• Perform patient panel cleanup and maintenance within the EHR.
• Update and maintain referring physician records within the EHR.
• Perform NDC cleanup and maintenance within the EHR.
• Answer eCW-specific helpdesk tickets and provide front-line troubleshooting.
• Travel to Oak Orchard Health sites as needed to provide on-site support.
• Support data accuracy and consistency within the EMR system.
• Foster positive working relationships across departments.
