Job summary

Florida Digestive Health Specialists is seeking an experienced Assistant EMR/PM Implementation Specialist to join our EHR Team. This role focuses on reporting, workflow analysis, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of PM and EMR/EHR systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of EHR/EMR support, 2+ years with eClinicalWorks, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to train staff and improve revenue cycle workflows at multiple Florida locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHR/EMR support experience in implementation, training, help desk support, or super-user roles.
• 2+ years of eClinicalWorks experience, including PM and reporting functions.
• Experience supporting PM systems: scheduling, registration, billing, claims processing, payment posting, revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with insurance management: eligibility, prior authorizations, claims submission, denial management, appeals, payer communications.
• Knowledge of medical billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle management.
• Experience generating and analyzing reports using EHR/PM reporting tools.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, Cognos, SQL or other reporting platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for EMR/EHR and PM systems across the organization.
• Create and maintain financial, clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and insurance reports for leadership and staff.
• Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and patient care.
• Support PM functions including scheduling, registration, charge entry, claims management, and revenue cycle operations.
• Assist with insurance management processes including eligibility verification, prior authorizations, claims submission, and payer communications.
• Develop and deliver training programs for providers and staff via onsite visits, webinars, and one-on-one sessions.
• Assist with MIPS tracking, reporting, submissions, and other regulatory initiatives.
• Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with vendors, and support upgrades and implementations.
• Collaborate with providers, office managers, billing teams, and staff to optimize system performance.
• Provide EHR, PM, and insurance workflow support for 400+ providers across multiple locations.
