Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement security programs and provide outreach within our gated retirement community.

The role includes patrolling, relief staffing at the gatehouse, responding to calls, enforcing traffic rules, and coordinating with EMS; requires CPR and EMR, 18+, valid license; shifts: Fri/Sat/Sun 7am-7pm or Sat/Sun/Mon 7pm-7am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level acceptable; EMR must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic interventions.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online report system.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
