Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to maintain an accurate Master Patient Index (MPI) and coordinate chart corrections within our electronic medical record systems. The role involves analyzing and resolving chart correction tickets from EMR and IT ticket systems for both hospital and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HIM required.
• Prior HIM-related work experience or HIM degree preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and resolve record discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chart correction cases in EMR and Service Now to ensure accurate documentation.
• Identify and merge potential duplicate MRNs from third-party sources.
• Verify provider information and relay validated data to IT security and database teams.
• Review transcribed reports and ensure proper interface to EMR.
• Manage MPI data integrity across multiple applications and queues.
• Coordinate with multiple managers in a matrix environment and prioritize tasks.
