Job summary

Arkansas Heart Hospital Llc in United States seeks an EMR Analyst to serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Millennium EMR and other clinical applications within MIS. You will maintain day-to-day operations, troubleshoot, upgrade, test, and implement changes to meet clinical needs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional-level experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience developing, supporting, maintaining and/or administering information systems.
• Experience with clinical electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain user access for clinical applications for all departments.
• Create and maintain education for end users.
• Assist with maintenance of all clinical applications including building user accounts, monitoring queues, correcting and filing failed documents.
• Provides on-call support for clinical applications/systems.
• Provides technical support and end-user training for clinical applications/systems.
• Maintains current knowledge of health reform initiatives, HIPAA compliance and patient care as they pertain to clinical application/system needs.
• Monitors and reports on project activities and status within published timelines.
• Reviews documentation release(s) by software developers to keep apprised of changes and upcoming developments in software applications.
• Communicates any software problems and issues to the software development and support teams.
• Prepares complex program, system and user documentation for enhancements.
• Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various clinical applications.
• Provides technical support and end-user training for EMR, PACS systems and other clinical applications.
• Explains technical material in an understandable manner to less technically proficient users.
• Manage 3rd party Vendors to contractual obligations and escape issues as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
