Job summary

Support Solutions Memphis is hiring a part-time caregiver to empower individuals with disabilities to live more self-directed lives in their homes and community.

You will support daily living activities, transport to appointments, and help maintain routines while ensuring safety and dignity. The role emphasizes confidentiality and respectful communication.

This position requires 18+, high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to meet background checks and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to read and write effectively.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a valid driving record.
• Must meet state and local requirements regarding criminal background check, sexual offender check, abuse registry, drug and felony offender listings.
• Must meet all training requirements and keep training current.

Responsibilities

• Supports the person supported with personal care and daily routines to achieve ISP goals.
• Provides transportation to events, job sites, and medical appointments as needed.
• Teaches daily living skills to promote independence.
• Documents daily shift notes in the electronic records system.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows customer service standards.
• Assists with house cleaning and laundry as desired.
