Compass Health Network is seeking a Peer Specialist ITCD in Troy to empower individuals in recovery. You will join the Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders team, using your lived experience to provide peer support, engagement, and connection to community resources.

The role focuses on modeling coping strategies, building hope, and helping participants navigate treatment with a collaborative clinical team, offering meaningful impact in a recovery-focused program.

Formación

• Must self-identify as a current or former consumer of behavioral health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder services
• Must complete a state-approved training program, pass a standardized examination, complete certification process within 60 days of hire, and maintain ongoing certification as a Certified Peer Specialist through the MO MO CB (MCB)
• A valid driver's license and agency-established minimum automobile coverage required

Responsabilidades

• Share personal recovery experiences and model healthy coping strategies
• Support individuals in building confidence, resilience, and community connections
• Assist with goal-setting and navigating treatment and support systems
• Help individuals recognize and build on their own strengths
• Participate as a valued member of the treatment team
• Provide transportation support when clinically indicated; driving is an essential function of this position
• Complete required state training, supervision, and certification processes (if not already certified)
