Job summary

Training & Treatment Innovations, Inc. seeks a compassionate Peer Support Specialist to assist individuals living with mental illness in pursuing recovery, independence and community integration.

You will provide person-centered support, help access services, coordinate care, and accompany clients to appointments. A lived experience with mental health services and willingness to obtain Michigan Peer Support Specialist Certification are required.

Qualifications

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Peer Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will support individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness by promoting independence, community integration, and recovery.

This position is rooted in empathy, hope, and shared lived experience. You’ll help individuals navigate services, build natural supports, and work toward personal recovery goals all while meeting people where they are, both emotionally and physically.

Services are primarily provided in the community at times and locations chosen by the individual, with availability to support needs across a flexible schedule.
