Job summary

Support Solutions is hiring a full-time/part-time direct support professional to assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities and community engagement. You will help with personal care, transport, and meaningful activities, documenting progress along the way.

We expect strong communication, organizational skills, and confidentiality. A valid driver’s license, background checks, and CPR/First Aid certification are required, with opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to read and write effectively.
• ECF staff must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid drivers license and maintain a valid driving record.
• Must meet state and local requirements regarding background checks and training.
• CPR/First Aid Certification must be maintained throughout tenure.

Responsibilities

• Supports the person supported with personal care and daily routines.
• Helps with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Documents daily shift notes and uses electronic records system.
• Assists with transportation using agency vehicles or community transport.
• Maintains confidentiality of person supported and follows safety standards.
