Job summary

Support Solutions Jackson, TN, seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with disabilities, helping them lead self-directed lives and develop skills for daily living.

You will facilitate personal care, community engagement, and safe transportation, while maintaining accurate records and upholding the agency's values. This role requires compassion, reliability, and adherence to training standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the person served with personal care and daily routines as defined by the ISP.
• Demonstrate the agency philosophy and respect for dignity in all interactions.
• Assist the person served to integrate with the community and access preferred activities.
• Provide safe transport and accompany the person to events and appointments.
• Manage resources including personal funds, vehicles, and supplies responsibly.
• Attend training meetings and complete required documentation.
• Assist with meals and daily living activities toward independence.
• Document progress in daily shift notes and electronic records.
• Maintain customer service standards when communicating with families, vendors, and staff.
• Oversee storage and administration of medications as required.
