Qualifications

• Six months of knowledge and skills through work experience or training preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intensified learning experiences for students in EC-5 and relieve teachers of non-instructional duties.
• Support classroom management during student arrival, departure, and daily activities.
• Provide instructional support and reinforce learning activities for students.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a neat, orderly classroom environment.
• Assist with copying, organizing, and filing materials for distribution.
• Help supervise students in hallways, lunchroom, auditorium, gym, and playground areas.
• Keep administrative records and prepare required reports for teachers.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as assigned.
