Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, design, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs. The role emphasizes assessment, documentation, and progress tracking in a supportive inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will hold current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or be able to obtain CPR within 30 days). A Master's degree is preferred or a Bachelor's with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
