Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is actively seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop and administer individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and adapt treatment to improve communication abilities in a supportive clinical setting.

Current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or within 30 days of hire) are required. A master's degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
