Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop personalized plans and monitor progress with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CCC, state licensure, and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire). A Master's degree is preferred, but a Bachelor's with relevant experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
