Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver patient-focused speech and language therapy in a supportive, community-oriented setting. You will assess, evaluate, and implement personalized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and utilizing advanced therapy tools.

Required are current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire; a master’s degree is preferred or a bachelor’s with field

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification or equivalent credential required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
