Responsibilities

Assist in supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs in regular or specialized settings.
Implement plans, interventions, and strategies for academic, social-emotional, and life skills.
Apply behavioral plans designed by IEP teams to support learning in LRE.
Gather data on student needs and abilities.
Assist with toileting, feeding, and lifting as required for students.
Monitor students in various settings to maintain safety and a positive learning environment.
Utilize behavioral approaches such as ABA or CPI when appropriate.
