Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Educator License with Stipulations (PARA) required; substitute license or professional educator license preferred.
• Experience with special education students is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with activities to maximize participation and achievement of IEP objectives.
• Implement instructional plans and apply/modify lesson modifications as directed.
• Administer curriculum-based tests/quizzes and track progress toward goals.
• Support daily living skills and personal care as needed.
• Maintain safety, order, and decorum in classrooms and common areas.
