Springfield Public Schools District-Will Be Determined in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a Paraprofessional III to support the Special Education program. This part-time, non-benefited role (up to 18 hours per week) reports to the Principal and works to help students reach behavioral goals and academic targets.

The position emphasizes assisting in individual or small-group instruction, monitoring student performance, and maintaining documentation consistent with IEPs and district requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college hours completed or DESE-approved Substitute Training program.
• Must obtain Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Criminal Background Clearance required and satisfactory to the District.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in adapting and presenting instructional materials to students.
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and convey information to the team.
• Communicate with teachers about student progress and needs.
• Maintain written records of observations and performance.
