Qualifications

• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certificate with endorsements.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Experience with ARD, IEP goals, and related processes.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies for students with diverse needs.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with staff to develop IEPs through ARD processes for each student.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs for students.
• Plan lessons and materials reflecting students' learning styles and needs.
• Modify curricula and assist in regular classes as needed.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to plan activities.
• Present subject matter according to IEP guidelines.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology in teaching/learning process.
• Maintain safety and manage student behavior per IEP.
