Job summary

Jubilee Academies Jubilee WestWood in San Antonio, TX seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with special needs. The role involves developing IEPs, collaborating with families, and implementing instructional plans aligned to ARD decisions.

Reporting to the Campus Principal, you will plan lessons, use assistive technology, and work in self-contained or collaborative settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Special Education.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in content area, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD process.
• Implement instructional/therapeutic or skill development programs and document preparation.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Modify regular curricula and assist students in regular classes as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings regularly and communicate findings.
