Job summary

Bothell High School, part of Northshore School District, seeks a Special Education Teacher - ATP for a 0.5 FTE non-continuing position. Starting date is to be determined and compensation follows the 2025-26 NSEA salary schedule.

The teacher develops lessons, uses data to guide instruction, and fosters a positive learning environment while supporting a diverse student body in a large school system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus completion of a teacher's preparation program and endorsement exams.
• Licensed in Washington State with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience with diverse student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom procedures.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to standards and district guidelines.
• Provide instruction and monitor progress using multiple data elements.
• Counsel, discipline, and supervise students; evaluate performance and progress.
