Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in reinforcing skills for instructional goals.

• Understand students' needs, interests, and abilities.
• Guide independent study and remedial activities as directed by teachers.
• Assist with large group activities and reading aloud.
• Supervise routines including bathroom and transfers as needed.
• Help with bus perimeters and building transitions.
• Apply behavior management strategies as instructed by the teacher.
• Complete clerical tasks related to students assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
