Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide empowerement and recovery support to individuals in the community. The role emphasizes modeling coping strategies, advocacy, and guiding participants toward community resources.

You will lead peer groups, encourage healthy relationships, and share your recovery story to inspire hope, while helping individuals regain control over their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist in NC or PA.
• 1 year experience with behavioral health preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Pre-employment screening: background name check and registries.
• Proof of employment history or references if required.

Responsibilities

• Modeling effective coping and self-help techniques to individuals.
• Providing empowerment skills and support in successful recovery living.
• Assisting individuals in finding resources and following through with proposed resolutions.
• Leading peer support groups with individuals served.
• Fostering development of healthy relationships by encouraging participation in community activities.
• Sharing personal story of recovery and resilience to instill hope.
