Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to deliver skilled services in patients’ homes across Texas. You will promote mobility, restore function, and improve safety and independence within the home setting, collaborating with patients, caregivers, and the care team.

The role emphasizes CAPTE standards, licensure, CPR, and reliable transportation. A flexible schedule and focus on patient-centered care are foundational to this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you’re assigned to work in.
• Current CPR certification
• 1+ years of related physical therapy experience for home health care
• If less than one year, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring/residency program
• Driver's License and reliable transportation

Responsabilités

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement and function.
• Perform interventions, reexaminations at least every 30 days, modify as needed, and discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned
