Job summary

Marshfield R-1 School District's Hubble Elementary is seeking a Para-Professional - Special Education for the 2026-27 school year. Under supervision of a special education teacher, you will support instructional activities and assist students with IEP goals in the elementary setting.

Requirements include ParaPro exam or 60 college hours, plus 20-hour substitute training; a background check is required. This full-time position offers district benefits and opportunities to contribute to student

Qualifications

• Education level must include ParaPro exam or 60 college hours.
• Complete 20 hr substitute training; a substitute certificate is required.
• Background check must be satisfactory to the Board of Education.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of a Special Education teacher.
• Assist students to complete instructional activities.
• Supervise students to meet IEP goals and accommodations.
• Provide physical assistance as needed (lifting, transferring, feeding).
• Participate in required training and maintain professional knowledge.
• Perform duties to support instructional, social, and behavioral goals.
