Job summary

St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life by enabling safe daily activities. You will assess diverse patient populations, develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• TX licensure eligibility upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements occupational therapy treatment programs per physician referral; designs programs to meet patient needs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely care and family involvement in goal setting and education.
• Completes all necessary documentation including charting, scheduling, and peer reviews as per policy.
• Coordinates patient care with hospital activities, discharge planning and rounds.
• Assigns, supervises and reviews care of patients and duties of OTA and therapy aide.
• Promotes professional customer service and works with team to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
