Qualifications

• Two years of College coursework (48 credits) or AS Degree required.
• Ability to work effectively with adults and students.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience at the middle school level.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Works with middle school student and support them in instructional and non-instructional settings.
• Reinforces learning of materials or skills initially introduced by the classroom teacher.
• Alerts the regular teacher to any problems or special information about the student.
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.
• Performs related duties as directed by the building principal.
