Job summary

Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. in the Maywood area seeks a passionate Special Education Teacher (LBS1). The role focuses on differentiated instruction and IEP updates to support students with diverse learning needs.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement and a Bachelor’s in Special Education (or related field). K-8 experience and strong knowledge of IEP processes are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a K-8 setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Experience providing differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs.
• Implement, monitor, and update IEPs to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Maintain accurate student progress reports and special education documentation.
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
