Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a dedicated Tutor to work full-time at partner schools, delivering contracted instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing using our proven curriculum and ongoing support to help students learn, grow, and shine.

You will be an advocate and mentor, attending trainings and adapting lessons to individual needs while maintaining student records and communicating progress with parents and teachers to foster student success.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree (or higher) or at least two years of college work (48 sem. hours or 72 quarter hours).
• Licensed tutors: proper credentials recognized by the State as a licensed teacher.
• Completion of FBI/BCI background check is required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for records and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services to students.
• Communicate progress to parents and conferences as needed.
• Deliver instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training and implement designated instructional models.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans tailored to each student.
