Job summary

Victorian Senior Care is seeking compassionate aides to support individuals with I/DD in private homes or community settings, helping them achieve personalized independence goals. You will work one-on-one to assist with daily living, social activities, and transportation when needed.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid driver's license plus state-required trainings. Documentation in progress notes is required, with strict ink-record keeping.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
• Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Abuse Registry.
• Must meet SBI and DMV requirements of LME/MCO contracts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have 3 Full years of driving experience.
• Must have acceptable level of automobile liability insurance.
• Experience with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to complete all required trainings as assigned.
• Must have access to a device with internet connection at the time services are rendered.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with I/DD in daily living skills.
• Assist with household chores and errands in the community or private homes.
• Document services in progress notes on the day of service in black ink.
• Provide transportation to community activities as needed.
• Report changes and incidents to supervisors; attend mandatory meetings.
