Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA.
• Current license to practice as a PTA from the relevant state Board.
• Entry-level PTA experience acceptable.
• Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy and related tasks as delegated.
• Perform physical therapy procedures within the plan of care.
• Document patient progress notes accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures and report issues.
• Address age-specific needs for all patients.
• Provide respectful, dignified care to patients and families.
• Coordinate workload and provide direction to the PTA aide as directed by the supervising PT.
