Community Action Partnership Belknap-Merrimack Counties is hiring an Early Head Start Teacher in Laconia, NH. This full-time role focuses on supporting the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers within a high-quality program.

You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, maintain compliant classroom standards, and collaborate with families to support child growth while adhering to NH licensing and Head Start requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, CDA for Infant/Toddler Caregivers, or equivalent credential per NH licensing requirements.
• Experience: Prior early childhood classroom experience; supervisory duties preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities; able to engage with income-eligible families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with current accreditation practices.
• Design a classroom environment that meets Head Start, NH licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Engage in responsive adult-child interactions benefiting children's development.
• Complete administrative tasks and document progress benchmarks.
