Job summary

Community Action Program Belknap‑Merrimack Counties, Inc. (CAPBM) seeks an Early Head Start Lead Teacher in Laconia, NH. This full‑time role focuses on the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of infants and toddlers within a supportive team environment.

You will develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, collaborate with families, and ensure compliance with Head Start and NH licensing standards. A valid CDA/education credentials and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; CDA Infant/Toddler Credential or NH licensing coursework.
• Experience: Prior experience in an early childhood classroom; supervisory duties preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities; ability to engage with families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Head Start requirements.
• Maintain classroom environments meeting Head Start/NAEYC/NH licensing standards.
• Engage in responsive adult‑child interactions and support children’s development.
• Complete administrative tasks such as progress reporting and curriculum planning.
