Community Action Partnership of Strafford County is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher in New Hampshire to support school readiness for infants and toddlers. Use Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos with fidelity and embed learning into daily routines, while maintaining accurate records in TSG and other systems.

The role requires an Associates Degree in ECE with 30 credits and 1500 hours of infant/toddler experience, plus compliance with NH licensing rules and Head Start

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 30 ECE credits and Infant/Toddler course.
• Minimum 1500 hours of experience with infants/toddlers.
• Compliance with NH Child Care Licensing Rules and Head Start Performance Standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, healthy environment with active supervision.
• Participate in pre-service and ongoing professional development.
• Function as primary caregiver to assigned children to support secure attachments.
• Maintain consistent routines and embed learning within daily activities.
• Offer rich opportunities for sensory exploration and social interaction.
• Plan a comprehensive program for low-income families, using Creative Curriculum with fidelity.
• Conduct developmental screenings within 45 days of enrollment.
• Individualize instruction using assessment data to inform planning.
• Enter data into systems like Child Plus and TSG.
• Engage families and foster home–classroom partnerships.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; support classroom operations.
• Communicate with families and maintain records and confidentiality.
