Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. DSPs provide hands‑on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, helping clients participate in social activities, documenting progress, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
