Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals DSPs to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD across our Residential Group Homes in Sharpsville and West Middlesex PA. We have full time and part time opportunities on multiple shifts.

As a DSP you will assist with activities of daily living and community participation while helping residents live as independently as possible. Paid onboarding & training, signing bonus, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background checks and healthcare registry checks.
• No prior disability-specific experience required; paid training provided.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
