RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional for the Lumberton unit (Robeson 2) on a full-time 2nd shift. You will support individuals with disabilities in community settings, helping identify goals and provide daily living assistance, transportation, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred/required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation duties.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Increase self-advocacy and support individual choice and decision-making.
• Accompany individuals to work, outings, shopping and community events.
• Teach independent living skills and daily routines.
• Provide transportation to appointments as needed.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Support decision-making about living, work, and social relationships.
• Assist with personal care and light home duties (laundry, cleaning, decorating).
• Document the care provided and maintain records.
