Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home and community-based support across New Jersey. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants who are compassionate, reliable, and patient.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, and accompany individuals to appointments and outings, following individualized care plans. Training is provided; valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and dependable.
• Strong communication skills and good judgment.
• Comfortable with personal care tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and complete required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support in homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community activities and appointments.
• Follow care plans and behavior support plans as directed.
• Administer medication as trained where applicable.
• Document services accurately per NJ DDD requirements.
• Communicate with families, team members, and staff about needs and progress.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.
