Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports seeks Direct Support Professionals for full-time and part-time roles across New Jersey. Provide hands-on support in homes and communities, assist with daily living, and help individuals participate in activities and appointments.

You will follow individualized plans, document services, and maintain a safe, respectful environment while building trust with clients and families. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred, training provided.
• Patient, compassionate and dependable with strong communication.
• Able to pass background checks and complete required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support in homes and community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and meals.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and outings.
• Follow care plans and behavior support plans as directed.
• Administer medication as trained (where applicable).
• Document services accurately per NJ DDD requirements.
• Communicate with families and care team about needs and progress.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.
