Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an instructional para educator to assist students under licensed staff supervision. You will help individuals or small groups with basic curriculum work, prepare materials, monitor students, and reinforce discipline procedures.

Qualifications

Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
No professional work experience required.
Title I assignments require two years of college or an associate degree or equivalent.
Intermediate English language skills.

Responsibilities

Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance.
Assist with curriculum delivery to individuals and small groups to ensure mastery of subjects.
Monitor students and reinforce behavior during activities.
Perform basic clerical tasks for the classroom teacher.
Assist with field trips or other classroom events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
