Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments must meet one of the following requirements: two years of higher education; an associate’s or higher degree; or demonstrated knowledge in reading/language arts, writing, and mathematics via a formal assessment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom materials, administer tests, grade and record attendance.
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor behavior and support discipline procedures during activities and field trips.
• Perform basic clerical tasks for the teacher, including data entry and materials distribution.
• Assist with field trips or fire drills and other events as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned or requested.
