RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Behavioral Health Certified Peer Support Specialist in Concord, NC. This full-time role operates in a hybrid model, providing essential peer support services to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges in the community.

You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team, advocate for clients, and promote recovery through strength-based interventions and empowerment. Training will be provided to meet service requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Professional Status and Peer Support certification or certificate of Peer Support supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with the population supported.
• Must complete a minimum of twenty hours of training specific to the required components of the service definition within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to provide advice and support per a treatment plan.
• Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers regularly.
• Support consumers in daily decision making and resolving minor problems.
• Help clients locate resources and encourage follow through with resolutions.
