Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Certified Peer Support Professional to provide individualized community-based support and promote self-determination for individuals with mental health and substance use needs.

You will work as part of a team, promoting recovery, coping skills, and community integration while complying with training and credentialing requirements. The role emphasizes empowerment and consumer-centered planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Professional Status and Peer Support certification or certificate of Peer Support supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with persons served.
• Must complete a minimum of twenty (20) hours of training within 90 days.
• Background check and drug screen required; CPR/First Aid/related certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to provide advice and support per treatment plan.
• Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers regularly.
• Support consumers in daily decision making and problem resolution.
• Assist clients by locating resources and encouraging follow-through with resolutions.
• Accompany clients to meetings and advocate for consumer needs in community groups.
