Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Worcester, MA is seeking a Peer Specialist to join its ACCS team and help advance its mission of empowering people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

You will orient new individuals to peer support services, assist in developing WRAP or other recovery plans, work closely with colleagues, and maintain timely contact notes; a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle available for all working hours required.
  • Minimum of six months' experience in human services preferred.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to update professional experience.
  • Maintains job effectiveness under changing conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet new individuals to orient them to peer support services.
  • Help individuals develop WRAP or other wellness and recovery plans.
  • Act as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience with all team members in order to assist individuals served while working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Complete contact notes in a timely fashion.

Pay Range: $21.50-$24.00
