Ideal candidates bring basic food service knowledge, attention to dietary needs, and the ability to handle equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in a school food service role a plus.
• Allergen Awareness Certificate and/or can obtain within 90 days.
• CPR Training and Choking certification and/or can obtain within 90 days.
• Food Handlers Certificate within 90 days.
• Satisfactory background check including CORI and Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and distribution.
• Managing food allergies.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with inventory of food, supplies, other items.
• Basic knowledge of production records.
• Basic computer knowledge (email, Excel, computer programs).
• Organizing supplies, food items, paper goods.
• Rotate supplies; FIFO; check dates.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Cleaning equipment and workstations.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• All other duties as assigned.
