Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in quantity food service production.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive/Google Suite.
• Experience in school nutrition or related field is highly desirable.
• Must be ServSafe certified within 6 months of hire.
• Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to maintain records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nutritional Services in ensuring NSLP compliance and safety standards.
• Prepare and cook large quantities to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Maintain inventory, NOI/FFS, and collaborative bidding records.
• Assist with department coverage during employee absences.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with staff, parents, and the community.
• Supervise staff and ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nutritional Services.
• Adhere to school policies in partnership with HR and leadership.
