The Arc Prince George’s County is hiring a Skills Trainer to supervise and assist individuals with disabilities in building employment and social skills. You will provide on-site job training, individualized employment support, and ongoing progress monitoring in partnership with families, employers, and educators.

Based in Largo, MD, the role requires travel to community job sites, collaboration with partners, and punctual, professional interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or a related field.
• Or a high school diploma with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support students in developing workplace, communication, and social skills.
• Provide individualized on-site job training and ongoing employment support.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with families, employers, educators, and service providers to support successful employment outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with students, supervisors, and community employers.
• Travel to community job sites to provide coaching and support.
