Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a dedicated Community Integration Specialist to support adults with disabilities in achieving meaningful community involvement. This role emphasizes person-centered planning, transportation coordination, and facilitating inclusive activities.

You will document progress and ensure safety and dignity in daily support. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with on-site responsibilities at MLK locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be computer literate and proficient with required software.
• Ability to problem-solve and assist in decision-making, including during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Support persons served to achieve independent, productive, inclusive community involvement.
• Coordinate transportation and schedule PCPs to align with preferences and goals.
• Complete daily documentation and follow-up records.
• Provide daily living support, supervision, and health care needs as required.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and respect while following agency policies.
• Document attendance and activity data, and participate in team meetings and trainings.
