Job summary

Jobot is a prestigious law firm seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Partner to join our dynamic team in Maryland. The role involves handling complex employment litigation matters, advising clients, and contributing to the growth of the firm.

This is a permanent position with a competitive compensation package and a path to equity based on experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in litigation, possess the Maryland Bar, and be capable of business

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Maryland State Bar and in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation with a proven track record.
Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
Strong client management abilities and capacity to develop relationships.
Proven ability to generate new business and expand client base.

Responsibilities

Preparing and filing court documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Representing clients in court and before administrative agencies.
Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda.
Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
Advising clients on employment law issues and preventive counseling.
Participating in business development to attract new clients and grow the firm’s employment litigation practice.
